The first issue of Poharex came out in April 11 2007- but what if we moved that date 100 years back?
This thought experiment explores what the Poharex comic series would have looked like as an early 20th-Century pulp magazine. The appearance of Poharex and the other characters is vastly different and is loosely based on the most current dinosaur restorations as of 1907.
Because of the retro theme, I've decided to throw in a very special guest star. The young lady to the left is Jane Webb from the awesome steampunk webcomic (and one of my all-time favorite comics), I, Mummy. The bird is Jane's pet chickadee, Harriet. If you haven't read "I, Mummy" yet, I can't recommend it enough.

Ah-ha, here's where you've been hiding this. Thank you again for including Jane in your retro pulp edition.

It was my pleasure.
Really, I was looking for a good excuse to draw some fan art of your characters, and, independently, I had the idea of making a what-if retro version of my comics, so I thought I might as well combine the two.
